I always find these things hard to write, what is there to say about me…

Well I am craft, as you have gathered by my blog, i love to keep my hands busy and this is one of the ways that I pass the time.  I also Knit, and Spin my own yarn, as well as crochet, and I used to do Photography as a semi pro hobby guess you could call it, weddings and babies and maternity photos.

I have sewn since I was little, my grandmother taught me when I used to spend the summer with her on her farm.  She also showed me how to knit and crochet as well.  I started quilting a few years ago (I still have much to learn) and every once in a while I do some.  But lately I have been quilting and sewing more.  I think for the almost instant gratification of it.  Seeing projects come together as you sew this piece to that piece, etc.

I own an Asian Fusion restaurant in Regina, Saskatchewan, where we live, and love running it with my Husband.  Its challenging but fun. So if you can’t find me sitting behind one of my sewing machines, you will find me there (sometimes more often then not…lol but we just had our 1 year restaurant anniversary so it can only get better from here).  It is lots of fun working in an open kitchen where customers can watch you cook their food, and smell all the wonderful aromas as we cook in our Woks.  We have all kinds of foods from all over Asia, so there is a wide variety of fresh foods for people to enjoy.

Well that is all I have to say for now, I guess it wasn’t that difficult to write…lol.
